Connemara Marble - ‘Worry Stone’

This worry stone has been handcrafted from offcuts of the finest Connemara marble sourced from Joyce’s Marble Quarry at Recess Co. Galway by Eric Byrne, a second generation stonemason, at the Hennesy & Byene marble studio in Russborough House Blessington Co. Wicklow.

The formation of Connemara marble dates back approximately 750 million years. This gift of nature reflects the ever-changing colours of the green patchwork or the Emerald isle and as such no two pieces are alike.
