About Mendicity: 

Established in 1818, Mendicity is the oldest working charity in Dublin. For over 200 years, they have been creating opportunities for people experiencing homelessness, isolation and marginalization, to live better lives. All products are unique and handmade in the Mendicity workshop by Dublin's homeless using repurposed materials. The Mendicity Workshop is a social enterprise that offers Community Employment in partnership with Addiction Response Crumlin, providing opportunities and offering a route out of homelessness to its participants, while generating funds to support Mendicity’s core services.
